The tripod prize, thank you SpanSet from UK Caving

My name is Jane Allen and I work in the Marketing Department at SpanSet.

It’s been months since I’ve travelled down the M6 to Middlewich to spend the day working with my colleagues in person – it’s all been Teams meetings during Lockdown…

Of course, all social distancing measures were in place (so no hugs!), however it was lovely to see everyone face to face rather than on a screen. I was made to feel really welcome; Vinny arranged a mini buffet (yum), Martin had brought me some honey after I mentioned I’d run out of the last jar he gave me.

Rob helped me collect a tripod which was a prize for a competition run on the forum I help run ukcaving.com and best of all Rich in Production repaired my horse’s ‘hoof boots’! The webbing had broken rendering them useless and I’d brought them down hoping SpanSet could maybe help – of course they could, not only are the boots repaired but they are better and stronger than ever – so thank you, SpanSet!

Oh and I did get lots of work done too - working from home has helped keep everyone safe however to finally be back working with my colleagues in a safe environment was both enjoyable and productive.
