Meet The Team

Neil Pinder - MOD & Utilities Manager

What name/nickname do you prefer to be called?

Neil or Neily P.

If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do here, what would it be?

‘Jack of all Trades’ and ‘A bit of everything’ 😊 - The main priority is to look after all the MOD and Utilities customers, problem solving and providing solutions for their specific requirements. In addition, I enjoy tender writing and contract management, helping the business win long term contracts with blue chip companies.  I work in a small team, who between us provide technical support, design and final product offer to our customers.  I assist with production, in short taking an idea to a working solution is very satisfying and rewarding.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Variety of work, problem solving and providing solutions.  Travelling and seeing new and random things and places. From working on a huge variety of military equipment (aircraft carriers to vintage spitfires) to climbing and training customers on the tallest free standing broadcast structure in the UK – Emley Moor Transmitting Station.  I have no idea what the next phone call might bring.

What are your hobbies?

Cycling – Road Bikes, MTB, Gravel Bikes – St Helens Rugby League – Sailing – Walking the sausage dogs – Horses - Family

What volunteering or passion projects do you do outside of work?

Winsford Wheelers Cycling Cub committee member – Club Bike Mechanic (Unofficial 😊)
