This three-day, classroom-based programme provides experienced personnel with an essential refresher on the key requirements of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L101 – Safe Work in Confined Spaces under the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997. The course focuses on ensuring participants remain fully competent in developing, managing and overseeing Safe Systems of Work for confined space activities.

Designed to align with the requirements of MoD JSP 375 Chapter 6 – Confined Spaces, as well as established NHS/SNHS procedures and comparable organisational frameworks, this training reinforces legal responsibilities, best practice and operational control measures.

By the end of the course, delegates will have refreshed knowledge of confined space classifications, identified associated hazards, reviewed essential safety documentation, confirmed competency requirements and ensured that appropriate control measures are in place prior to authorising or carrying out work.
