What is it?
Professional work positioning harness for engineers who work at height.

What can it be used for?
Industrial climbing applications where fall arrest techniques are needed to reach the work area, and work positioning techniques are required to securely hold the worker in place while tasks are carried out.

Who can use it?
Working at height carries significant risk, so it’s vital that all users are properly trained in the pre-use inspection, fitting, adjustment, and correct use of their harness. As long as the harness fits correctly, it will safely support the user—regardless of their weight. Available in three sizes, the harness is designed with a 10:1 safety factor and is rated for users up to 150kg.

How has it been tested?
Type tested and CE marked for Europe under the PPE Regulations to EN361 & EN358 - Additionally tested to Australian standard AS/NZS 1891.1:2020.
The SpanSet manufacturing process is quality controlled and audited by the British Standards Institute to the international standard for quality management ISO9001.

What paperwork is supplied?
- Multilingual Instructions with pictorial guide.
- Individual Product History Card – This record card contains all the documentation required to maintain the product. The front forms the European Declaration of Conformity and the table on the reverse can be completed to for the inspection record.

What training is required?
Although in itself this is a simple item to use, there are several stages that should be considered as part of the process as a whole . Training is available for all the stages outlined at the SpanSet training school in Middlewich or subject to suitability on a site of your choice

All training for work at height is conducted in accordance with BS8454:2006 and is audited as part of our ISO9001:2015 quality management system.
