Apprenticeship as machine and plant operator - textile technology weaving (m/f/d)

For our location in Übach-Palenberg we are looking for apprentices for the 01. August 2022 for the profession:

Machine and plant operator - textile technology weaving (m/f/d)

Field of activity:

Machine and plant operators with a focus on textile technology in the area of weaving operate and maintain machines and equipment such as ribbon weaving machines of high-performance textiles, at SpanSet in the areas of height safety, lifting technology and load securing. They mainly work in weaving with high-performance fibers.

Job Qualifications:

• Work on technical equipment, machinery and plants
• Manual work in retooling and maintaining machines: e.g., replacing wear parts such as seals, filters or hoses, readjusting the play of moving parts
• Carrying out minor repairs
• Shift work

Training period:

• 2 years, start 01.08.2022
• The training takes place at SpanSet and at the vocational college in Düren

Prerequisite:

• Advanced technical college entrance qualification, good grades in science subjects and mathematics
• High motivation and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team
