Exoset Point

Designed to offer exceptional flexibility, safety, and durability. Presents ability to be loaded from all sides, allowing for multi-directional use, and features a 180° rotating lifting ring that adapts to different load orientations.

Exoset Point Long

Designed for secure and efficient load handling across various industrial applications. It features a self-aligning mechanism under load, maintaining a minimum safety factor of 4:1 in all directions.

Exoset Ring

Equipped with an identification label displaying its load capacity and is accompanied by electronic traceability through SpanSet's EPIS system. This ensures transparency and reliability in load management.

Exoset Swivel 

Designed to enhance safety and efficiency in lifting and anchoring applications. Full rotation, allowing for optimal alignment with the load direction, which ensures an even distribution of forces during lifting operations

Exoset 1 Weld 

Features a 180° pivoting load ring secured by a protected spring mechanism, ensuring the ring remains in any desired position while damping noise. This lifting point can be loaded from all directions and maintains a safety factor of 4:1.

Exoset 2 Weld

Designed for secure attachment through welding onto structures. It features a double-base weld-on lifting ring, enhancing stability during lifting operations. Ranges from 1.4 to 10 tons, depending on the specific model.​
 

Exoset Blue Pin Shackle

Secure and efficient load handling across various industrial applications. The manual is attached to the ring and must be removed and stored before use. Identification marking is on the lifting point and with a tear resistant label 

Exoset Blue Bolt Shackle

High-quality bow shackle designed for secure and efficient lifting and lashing applications. It features a safety bolt with a nut and split pin, ensuring a reliable connection during operations and to prevent accidental disassembly during use.

What does 4:1 safety factor mean?

A safety factor of 4:1 means the breaking strength of the equipment.

Example:
If a shackle has a WLL of 5 tons, its actual breaking strength is 20 tons (5 × 4 = 20). This ensures a margin of safety to account for unexpected forces, wear, or misuse during lifting operations.

Why is this important?

  • Prevents failures: Ensures the equipment can handle more than its rated capacity before breaking.
  • Accounts for variable conditions: Load shifts, shock loads, and environmental factors can create additional forces.
  • Complies with safety standards: Many industries require specific safety factors for lifting gear.

Different applications may require different safety factors, such as 5:1 or 7:1 in more critical or hazardous environments.
