SpanSet Limited is part of the SpanSet International group of companies. SpanSet manufacture Lifting, Load Control and Height Safety products, plus provide the supporting training and inspection services.
SpanSet Limited has the position of Competence Centre within the group for Height Safety Products and services resulting in trade between the group companies as well as standard commercial business both domestic and international.
SpanSet are looking to recruit an Accountant for their UK office based in Middlewich, Cheshire.
Job Description
- Day to day running of the accounts department and management of the accounts team (2)
- Financial planning including, cash flow, forecasting and budget preparation
- Providing financial information and support to the Managing Director and Group Head Office
- Responsibility for the processing and submissions of statutory returns.
- Preparation on the company’s financial and monthly management accounts
- Managing the year end audit
The Successful Applicant
- Ideally Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent), or experienced and capable of reporting directly to the Managing Director
- Ideally fully conversant with Sage Line 500 or 1000 (currently updating to a new ERP system, Business Central)
- Proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach
- Experience of working within an International Group
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work to strict deadlines
