SpanSet Ltd is part of the SpanSet International Group based in Switzerland and was established in 1969. The company has owned its factory site in Middlewich since 1991 and has continually invested in the infrastructure including Research & Development testing equipment, state of the art customer Training centre and more recently solar power and EV chargers.
SpanSet Ltd employs circa 100 people, the majority based locally. We are supplied by a range of local businesses such as engineering companies and component suppliers and supported by many more, for example accommodation and catering for our training candidates.
SpanSet Ltd design, manufacture and supply Height Safety, Lifting and Load Control equipment to Industry, the MoD and Utilities. Our products are innovative and of the highest quality. We offer Consultancy and Inspection Services and our Training Department successfully trains 35,000+ candidates annually.
SpanSet Ltd is the ‘Competence Centre’ for the SpanSet Group for both Height Safety and Services and also one of the longest established companies within the Group, thus guaranteeing continued inward investment.
Our Gotcha Rescue Kit range is recognised internationally and recently updated with the launch of the Gotcha2, offering the best in Height Safety Rescue provision. Further new product launches will be showcased at one of our popular free Technical Days this month, attended by key industry figures from across the UK. Our Market leading Training department sets the standard for industry and continues to innovate and expand.
