Tension Force Indicatoe SpanSet

Our Difference:
Tension Force Indicator

The SpanSet Tension Force Indicator (TFI) is a mechanical device designed to provide a reliable and easy-to-read indication of the
pre-tensioning force achieved in lashing straps. It offers a cost-effective alternative to expensive electronic measurement devices.

Here's a breakdown of its key features and benefits:

How it Works:

The TFI is installed directly on the tensioning device (ratchet).
It has two jaws that close as tension is applied to the lashing strap.
Once the full, intended pre-tensioning force is reached, the jaws are completely pressed together (form fit). If the lashing strap loses tension during transit, the jaws will not be fully closed, signaling that re-tensioning is required.

Key Advantages:

Verifiable Pre-tensioning Force: Allows users to easily measure and prove the applied pre-tensioning force, which is crucial for compliance and safety checks.
Cost-Effective: Eliminates the need for expensive electronic measuring devices, as many SpanSet products are now fitted with TFIs as standard.
Maximizes Lashing Strap Performance: Helps users achieve the maximum pre-tensioning force, leading to better load securing.
Easy to Read: Designed with signal colors (green, red, yellow) for different pre-tensioning displays (500, 750, 1,000 daN/STF), making it easy to read even in poor light conditions.
Durability: "Well-protected" as it's installed directly on the tensioning device.
Enhanced Safety: Provides immediate visual feedback on tension, prompting re-tensioning if necessary, thus improving safety during transport.
