Product Story: The Revolution of Magnum Force

At SpanSet Australia, innovation isn't just a buzzword – it's the core of our commitment to safety and efficiency in lifting. The Magnum Force Round Sling is a testament to this philosophy, born from a relentless pursuit to overcome the limitations of traditional lifting equipment. We saw the challenges faced by industries handling increasingly heavy and complex loads – the strain of manual handling, the demand for narrower access, and the need for slings that wouldn't compromise on safety or longevity.

Magnum Force is the result of years of dedicated research and development, combining advanced material science with SpanSet's unparalleled expertise in textile construction. It's not just a sling; it's a meticulously engineered solution designed to push the boundaries of what's possible in heavy lifting. Every fibre, every stitch, and every design choice is driven by a singular purpose: to deliver a lighter, stronger, and inherently safer lifting experience, ensuring operational excellence for our clients right here in Australia. We're committed to providing tools that not only meet but exceed the rigorous demands of modern industry, setting a new benchmark for performance and reliability

Engineered for Australia's Toughest Jobs

The SpanSet Magnum Force Round Sling is specifically engineered for the most demanding lifting environments across Australia. It's the ideal solution for:

Mining
and Resources:

Handling massive machinery components, conveyor belts, and heavy structural elements in challenging, often remote, conditions.

Construction and Infrastructure:

Lifting precast concrete, steel beams, bridge sections, and formwork where precision, durability, and a compact profile are critical.

Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing:

Moving large, often delicate or uniquely shaped, fabricated assemblies and machinery with enhanced control and reduced risk.

Energy Sector (Oil & Gas, Renewables):

Rigging pipelines, turbines, and complex modules where robust, reliable, and easily manageable slings are paramount.

General Rigging & Crane Hire:

Seeking versatile, long-lasting slings that improve operational efficiency and significantly reduce manual handling injuries for their teams.

Marine
and Offshore:

For demanding lifts in shipbuilding, port operations, oil and gas platforms, and salvage operations where heavy loads, compact design, and excellent resistance to wear are critical in harsh environments.

Engineered for Excellence: Core Features

Up to 50% Lighter and More Compact:

Magnum Force slings are significantly lighter and slimmer than conventional polyester round slings. This revolutionary design reduces manual handling efforts and allows the slings to be laid against tighter edge radii, making rigging in confined spaces or around complex loads far easier and safer.

Enhanced Sleeving Surface:

A raised polyester stitch pattern and a smoother surface on the sleeving significantly improve its gliding characteristics, especially during choking applications. Tests demonstrate this can result in up to 17 times greater abrasion resistance compared to conventional round slings

Permanently Woven-In Working Load Limit (WLL):

A critical safety feature, the WLL data is permanently woven into the sling and is raised. This means it can be clearly felt and detected even if the sling becomes extremely dirty, ensuring continuous identification of its capacity. This is part of four ways the WLL is identified: Tag, Stripes, Woven, & Colour.
