The SpanSet Tension Force Indicator (TFI) is a patented mechanical device engineered to provide a clear, visual indication of the pre-tensioning force applied to lashing straps or safety lines. HOW IT WORKS
The TFI provides instant visual feedback through its simple, colour-coded jaw mechanism.
Visual Feedback:
The TFI's jaws close as tension is applied to the strap. When the jaws are fully closed, you've reached the correct pre-tensioning force.
Colour-Coded Force Levels:
The TFI is available in different versions, each corresponding to a specific tension level. This makes it easy to verify the applied force, even in low-light conditions.
🟢 Green: 500 daN
🔴 Red: 750 daN
🟡 Yellow: 1,000 daN
Monitoring Tension Loss:
If a lashing strap loses tension during transport, the TFI's jaws will no longer be fully closed. This provides a clear visual cue that re-tensioning is necessary.
