Introduction

In this Code of Conduct, the Board of Directors sets out the ethical standards and defines how SpanSet conducts its business. Corporate responsibility to all stakeholders is considered the foundation of long-term success. The Board fully endorses this Code and expects the entire organization to comply with it. Violations of this Code may endanger the company’s business and reputation.

Laws and Regulations

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations in every region where we operate, as well as internal company policies.

We compete fairly by upholding our core values: Trust, Expertise, and Interaction — not through unfair practices.

We do not tolerate corruption or bribery in any form and do not offer or accept inappropriate gifts. Facilitating payments are strictly prohibited.

Ethical Behaviour

We build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing the best products and services suited to their specific situations.

We avoid situations where personal interests may conflict with the interests of SpanSet. Any such occurrence must be documented and reported to a superior.

Company Culture

We recognize that our business depends on our people, and we strive to create an environment that encourages the development of individual potential.

Leaders set an example through integrity in their actions and ensure that all employees understand this Code of Conduct.

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, bullying, or harassment based on race, gender, age, or sexual orientation. We also avoid sexist jokes and the display of any material containing sexual content.

SpanSet employees have the right to a safe and healthy working environment. We also strive to improve safety in our customers’ workplaces through the products and training we provide to help prevent accidents.

Discipline

Tangible and intangible assets of SpanSet may only be used for business purposes. All employees are responsible for preventing misuse, damage, waste, or loss of these assets.

Technical know-how and operational secrets belonging to SpanSet must be handled with the utmost care. Unauthorized disclosure to third parties can cause serious harm to the company.

Violations of this Code of Conduct, company policies, laws, or regulations are considered unacceptable and may result in serious consequences, ranging from warnings to demotion or termination. Not only the violator, but also direct supervisors and any employee aware of the violation, may be held responsible.

Social Responsibility

We respect Human Rights and strive to minimize negative impacts on the environment. A long-term perspective means optimizing the use of resources.

We make every effort to ensure that our business partners comply with the same principles and standards.

We do not tolerate child labor under any circumstances, whether directly or indirectly.

Continuity and Compliance

The entire organization is required to comply with this Code of Conduct.

Any changes to this Code will be communicated to all employees.

Any violation or potential violation of this Code must be reported to a superior. Reporting such incidents will never result in penalties for the reporter.
