Natalie Powers - Customer Support Specialist

What name/nickname do you prefer to be called? 

My Sister, Steph works at SpanSet in Customer Support – she has always called me Nat so when I joined the company, it wasn’t long before everyone in the Team was also calling me Nat.  We’ve worked together previously and it’s great we can do so again at SpanSet as we get along really well.

If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do here, what would it be?  

·My role is Customer Support and that’s exactly what we try our best to do - help our customers.  Currently every day is a school day as I’m still relatively new in my role, however I’ve worked previously in customer services and have great back up so I’m learning fast.  If I can’t answer a customer question, someone here will help me.

What do you enjoy about the work you do. 

I like to know that in doing my job well, I’ve helped someone do their job well – and stay safe, as SpanSet is all about safety.  It’s satisfying seeing orders go out on time and queries being solved.

What are your hobbies?  

We bought a new home a few months ago and since then it’s been constant refurbishment.  I’ve learnt a lot but drew the line at plastering, we got a professional in for that 😊. I was even delighted when my partner bought me a corner sander for my birthday!  We also have the travel bug and love our holidays; Santorini was a particular favourite and we’re looking forward to a cruise round the Mediterranean next year.

What volunteering or passion projects do you do outside of work? 

We spend a lot of time looking after our Grandson, Jax which is just lovely.  We also look after Jax’s goldfish, ‘Graham’. He won it at a Fair and loves that fish - it lives in a large tank with all mod cons ðŸ˜Š
