SARA - Search and Rope Access Operative
A course for Police Officers using Rope Access techniques for search purposes.
Successful completion of training will provide officers with the following skills and knowledge
- A background into how Rope Access can be be utilised for search purposes
- An outline of the legislation relating to general work at height and where Rope Access fits into this
- The practical skills to allow Officers to access areas using rope techniques such as descending, ascending and climbing
- The ability to inspect and maintain all associated equipment required.
- A working knowledge of SARA operational procedures.
