About IRRA (Indonesia Rally Raid Adventure)

IRRA (Indonesia Rally Raid Adventure) is an off-road rally raid event that was first held on 3–6 December 2025 in the Majalengka and Indramayu areas, West Java. The event was initiated by Taka Motorsport and led by national racer Rifat Sungkar, with the aim of bringing an international-standard rally raid competition to Indonesia.

IRRA combines endurance, navigation, and adventure across a route of more than 400 kilometers, passing through a wide variety of terrain including plantations, hills, gravel tracks, and river crossings. The event is open to multiple categories, ranging from professional 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles in various engine classes to a non-competitive overland category.

One of IRRA’s unique values is its spirit of togetherness and mutual support, where participants help each other when facing technical difficulties on the route — a value that aligns closely with the philosophy of safety and collaboration that we also uphold at SpanSet.

SpanSet’s Role in the IRRA (Indonesia Rally Raid Adventure) Event

At the IRRA Event, SpanSet contributed directly as a provider of technical equipment used by participants on the course. Our recovery and load-securing solutions were utilized to support the recovery of vehicles experiencing difficulties on the route, as well as to ensure that motorcycles, spare tires, and equipment remained securely fastened throughout the off-road journey.

All products we supplied are designed and manufactured in accordance with strict industry standards and are widely used across various sectors, including automotive, logistics, construction, lifting, and occupational safety.

Tow Straps and Tree Straps for Vehicle Recovery Operations

During the event, SpanSet’s tow straps and tree straps were used to support the recovery of vehicles that became stuck in challenging terrain such as mud, steep inclines, gravel tracks, and river crossings.

Based on a high-strength round sling construction, these products are designed to withstand high tensile loads safely and steadily, while minimizing the risk of damage to both the vehicle and the surrounding environment. This allows recovery operations to be carried out in a more controlled, efficient, and safe manner for all parties involved.

Tie-Down Lashings for Securing Motorcycles and Spare Tires

In addition to recovery operations, SpanSet’s tie-down lashings were used to secure motorcycles during transport and to fasten spare tires and equipment at the rear of participants’ vehicles.

This load-securing system helps ensure that cargo remains stable throughout hundreds of kilometers of routes with constantly changing terrain, while also reducing the risk of shifting, damage, and potential accidents during the journey.

These solutions are part of SpanSet’s range of webbing slings, round slings, and lashing systems, which are widely used across the automotive, off-road, rally raid, logistics, and industrial sectors throughout Indonesia.
