SpanSet Technical Day - May 2023

Above and Beyond Certification

We were delighted to welcome colleagues from across industry to the recent Technical Day held at our Headquarters in Middlewich, Cheshire. To celebrate the launch of four new Height Safety products, the day’s theme was ‘Above and Beyond certification’ - Height Safety Equipment designed to work in the real world, not just to comply to standards.

Personal Fall Protection Equipment must comply to standards, however what keeps your workforce safe is equipment designed for the job in hand.  SpanSet believe the Legal requirement for certification is just the start – we go above and beyond, designing equipment your workforce will want to use – safe, practical, intuitive and reliable.

SpanSet work closely with those who are using PFPE daily – we Train 30K+ workers annually and are experienced in Work at Height consultation.  It is through these partnerships, listening to feedback and understanding the real world situations our customers work in, we are able to design and manufacture Height Safety equipment fit for purpose.

‘Above and beyond certification’ was explored with live, interactive demonstrations held by our experienced Instructors and our Team of Height Safety Experts on hand.

Four new products were launched on the day which combine to offer a complete fall protection solution.  This innovative system was used to illustrate how to be sure you are buying the correct equipment for the job at hand, not just to complying to standards - keeping the workforce safe.

The day included a buffet lunch and opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals.
