SpanSet Ltd Deliver CITB Assured courses

SpanSet Ltd have now become an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) with CITB.  This will make is easier to receive grants on your CITB courses, approved short duration courses.

The Construction Training Directory is where you will be able to find the training you need that is delivered by CITB Approved Training Organisations (ATO).

Searching for courses in the Directory is open to everyone, you do not need a login to access it.

This new "Training Model" is part of the CITB reform plan and will ultimately make it quicker and easier to book training to a recognised standard, claim grants and check records of training and qualifications that individuals have achieved.  It also gives a significant amount of new data, so CITB can respond to support changing needs.

The Grants Scheme is changing to support more employers to access the core construction skills most needed. Grants under the new scheme will be focussed on training that delivers construction skills the industry needs only. The scheme no longer supports non-construction training, and this includes occupations that take place on a construction site but are not covered by the CITB Scope Order.

Skills and Training Fund

Up to £10K for skills and training for CITB-registered employers with up to 99 directly employed staff on the payroll.  Employers can apply for funding once every 12 months.

How much you can apply for

CITB-registered employers can apply for funding, related to how many direct employees they have -

Employers with 1 to 49 directly employed staff can receive up to £5,000

Employers with 50 to 74 directly employed staff can receive up to £7,500

Employers with 75 to 99 directly employed staff can receive up to £10,000

Changes to the Grant Scheme

The Grants Scheme supports Apprenticeships, Qualifications and other training that is to an agreed standard. Grant supported other training, that is to an agreed standard, can be found and booked through the Construction Training Directory. (CTD)
