Our best-selling SpanSet Scaffolder X Harness is robust, hardwearing and offers an excellent fit. It’s practical, iconic design has been tried and trusted for over 20 years. In the event of a fall, it will support and protect the wearer.
Comfort and Fit.
Manufactured with hardwearing, supple webbing woven specifically for us here in the UK, the Scaffolder is comfortable to wear all day long as the webbing shapes to and supports the wearer’s body.
The leg loops, shoulder and chest webbing are all fully adjustable and our original rear triangle webbing design prevents migration of the rear attachment point, ensuring a great fit for a wide range of shapes and sizes. The rear triangle design also helps the wearer quickly determine which way up the harness, making it easier to put on.
Safe, practical and straightforward to inspect.
The shoulders are reinforced to protect both wearer and harness when carrying scaffold.
The harness label includes a space where the worker can write their name/ID – this avoids writing on the webbing which is not recommended. Fitting diagrams are also included on the label.
All structural stitching is automated. Sewing patterns are therefore identical and thread tension is consistent. This quality method of manufacture guarantees the visual appearance of the stitching, making it simple to inspect.
The Scaffolder X harness is designed to fully adjust and accommodate a wide range of wearer shapes and sizes, therefore holding the torso securely and providing maximum protection in the event of a fall.

How has it been tested?
The X harness is CE marked under the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations.
The CE marking process includes independent testing to EN361:2002 - Personal protective equipment against falls from height - full body harnesses.
The SpanSet manufacturing process is quality controlled and audited by the British Standards Institute to the international standard for quality management ISO9001:2008.
