What is it?

The SECURECLIMB vertical fall arrest system offers market leading fall protection for work at height on any type of fixed industrial ladder or suitable vertical structures such as electricity pylons.

SpanSet’s unique Traveller (Mobile Anchor Device) design allows simple hands-free use of the system ensuring the operative can focus on the ascent and descent and work safely when working at height. In the event of a fall the mobile anchor device locks onto the cable drastically reducing the fall distance, subsequent impact force and the risk of secondary injury through collision. The reaction speed of SpanSet’s innovative Traveller offers market leading performance. The loadings transferred to the user are further reduced by shock absorbers in both the traveller and system.

Simple, Safe and Intuitive to use:

No complicated mechanical operation. Safe connection to the system is via an entry/exit ‘gate’ at the bottom without the need to open the Traveller.
Smooth transition of Traveller along the length of the vertical lifeline, including intermediates.
Traveller is fully detachable at any point along the vertical lifeline using simple one-handed operation of the safe dual action mechanism.
Traveller remains attached to operative during use reducing risk of dropping device.
6KN shock absorber fitted as standard to every system.
Anti-inversion mechanism to prevent use of the Traveller upside down.
‘Go/No Go’ indicator to show the system is correctly tensioned and highlight if system has been overloaded prior to use.
Extension Anchor Posts available increasing the length of the system to ensure the operative reaches a safe position before disconnection. Ideal where ladders finish flush for example.
