Background

The Level 2 High-Rise Building Worker (TKBT 2) certification and training program aims to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to work safely at heights. This is crucial, as falls from height account for approximately 38% of workplace accidents, making them the leading cause of worker injuries (Kompas).

By implementing occupational safety management, companies can reduce accident risks, lower fines or compensation claims, and improve productivity.

Through TKBT 2 training, participants will learn to identify potential hazards and address them using safe methods.

The legal basis for this training refers to:

  • Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.13 of 2003 on Manpower (Chapter V on Workforce Training).
  • Ministry of Manpower Regulation No.9 of 2016 on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for Working at Height, which classifies workers into TKPK (Working at Height Personnel) and TKBT (High-Rise Building Workers).

Companies are required to supervise the implementation of OSH regulations in the workplace to minimize the risk of accidents at height.
